For real, peoples, put down the sour [mix]—it’s an abomination! (Why
the hell is it that color?) What you’re drinking ain’t a margarita,
cause tequila sloshed into a pitcher of sickly sweetness does not
a margarita make. When you are ready to have your mind blown with
the properly made signature Mexican libation, make your way over
to Troy’s Irish-Mexican upstart. Mmmmm. You’ll probably see us there.

...everything was perfect the food, service, drinks, ill be becoming a regular 4 mexican chow
...Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Service was attentive and responsive, although sometimes needing a reminder. Soup of the day, Cream of Portobello mushroom was very good, plenty of mushrooms and the cup is a generous amount, the Black Bean soup was more like a stew (very good as well). My party of 4 each had something different and not a bite was left untouched. The menu is different and offers enough of a variety...exactly what we need in this area. It is NOT another a chain. Creative and delicious!!!

Posted on: 10:39 pm, September 19, 2006 Rt This Mexican-Irish restaurant on River St. is worth a visit from anywhere in the Capital District. The Mexican specials are extraordinary They offer delicious creative dishes with stuffed chile peppers and have some unique burritos and quesadillas. The chef does a fantastic job with combinations of fruits, nuts, veggies, and spices. There are chicken and pork dinners with sauces you just don't get anywhere else around here. Also there are the traditional Irish dishes like corned beef and cabbage, Shepard's pie, and Guiness stew. the bar is well stocked with a great selection of beers and wine and they make some really nice margaritas. For dessert don't pass on the Key Lime pie or the flan. Found at tripadvisors.com

Their guacamole is fantastic.
The chili was, simply put, superb. The freshness and crunch of the vegetables, the firmness of the beans, the heat of the spices all nicely balanced.
Delightful Space; Delicious, Affordable Meals What a warm and wonderful space to have drinks with friends after work, or to enjoy a pleasant meal without breaking the bank. They have some pretty interesting liquors behind the bar, and a warm and friendly staff to assist you. [12 Apr 2006 10:43:48]
